The VDX2-6554 PC/104 family of embedded controller is designed with backward compatibility in mind, to provide migration path for projects facing end-of-life challenges with their existing x86 based PC/104 controller. The VDX2-6554 family of controller is designed as a plug in replacement, with backward compatibility to support legacy software to help extend existing product life cycle without heavy re-engineering.
The VSX-6127 has a fully static 32-bit x86 processor and is PC compatible allowing it to run most popular 32-bit Operating Systems such as Windows CE and Linux as well as older Operating Systems such as DOS. The XGI Volari Z9 video chipset features 32 MB onboard video memory supporting Analog VGA monitors and TFT Flat panel LCDs and has a resolution of up to 1280x1024 @ 16M colors. In addition to video, three USB 2.0 ports are provided as well as one Parallel port (SPP/EPP/ECP modes), an UltraDMA – 100/66/3 EIDE port (which supports up to 2 IDE devices) and seven RS-232 and one RS-232/422/485 serial port. The PCM-6127 can run at temperatures of -20 º C (-4º F) to 70º C (158º F). The numerous features provide an ideal price/performance solution for commercial and industrial applications where stability and reliability (no moving parts) are essential. **Flash Disk not included.**

Overview
The PCM-9362 is centered on the low power Intel® Atom processor that supports enhanced Intel “SpeedStep” technology and uses Intel’s N450/D510 + ICH8M chipset. This chipset is ideal for embedded computing and provide an optimized on-board integrated graphics solution. “SpeedStep” technology intelligently focuses system power where the CPU needs it and automatically regulates power usage to minimize power consumption.
The PCM-9362's design is based on the small Half-EBX form factor and provides support for PCI-104 module expansion. The Half-EBX form factor also provides a convenient connector layout for easy assembly, more efficient cable connections, and better overall embedded system integration. This compact unit (only 5.7" x 4.0") offers all the functions of a single board industrial computer, but still fits in the space of a 3.5" Hard drive.
On-board features include: four serial ports, six USB (Universal Serial Bus) 2.0 ports, two Gig Ethernet ports, an Audio port, a CF(compact flash) card, and a PS/2 keyboard/mouse interface. The built-in high-speed SATA Hard Driver controller supports a maximum transfer rate of 300MB per second. Up to two drives can be connected, including large hard disks, CD-ROM drives, and tape backup drives.
