Material Supply & Price Increases for 2021

To Our Customers:

The effects of the COVID-19 virus continues to have an unprecedented impact on trade and commerce affecting EMAC both as a supplier of OEM embedded systems and as a buyer of these components. EMAC has received a variety of notifications from Vendors across the industry that indicate there will be an uptick in the price of the materials we use to build our embedded systems as well as potentially longer lead times.  As we become aware of the impact of revised component pricing; we intend to pass along these price increases in a fair and responsible manner.

Please note the following information on your sales orders and master orders

Due to volatility in the electronic component marketplace EMAC Inc. runs a Component Viability Determination (CVD) to help identify long lead time parts, unexpected shortages or significant price increases (due to demand and/or Tariffs). After completion of the CVD, EMAC will update you if we received details that may affect the estimated ship date or pricing changes should we be made aware of any issues.
