The VDX2-6526 3.5” family of embedded controller is designed with backward compatibility in mind, to provide migration path for projects facing end-of-life challenges with their existing x86 based 3.5” controller. The VDX2-6526 family of controller is designed as a plug in replacement, with backward compatibility to support legacy software to help extend existing product life cycle without heavy re-engineering.
Designed and manufactured in the USA, the DEV-IOT6U development kit is your IOT starting point. Based on EMAC’s SoM-iMX6U which is an ultra low power System on Module (SoM) plugged into the EMAC SOM-112ES carrier board that contains all the connectors and I/O required for a system. The SoM-iMX6U is based on the Freescale/NXP i.MX6 UltraLite Cortex A7 processor and has ARM Sleep Mode of 3.5mA.
The VDX-6327 utilizes an onboard Vortex86DX Fanless 800MHz processor built for Ultra Low Power Consumption. The processor is highly integrated thus reducing the price of the board. The VDX-6327 comes with a PC/104 bus connector and a PCI-104 / PC/104+ bus connector which allows it to utilize higher end PCI bus based modules. **Flash Disk not included.**
